Palace Gate Guards from the Joseon period were responsible for guarding the gates of the city and the palace in which the king and royal families resided. 

Event Overview

Everyday (Except on Tuesdays)

Six times a day, i.e every hour on the hour between 10am and 3pm

Duration : 15 minutes

Only the ceremony of the chief guards finishing their daily duty at 4:00pm

A smaller body of royal guards carries out the performance during winter (Dec-Feb) and summer (July-August)

Memang timing best.. sampai je changing guards kat Gyeongbokgung

This event kan tak boleh miss tau sbb sgt best tgk.. lagi pon with the drum beat macam dah kembali ke zaman Joseon dulu ala Warrior Baek Dong So.. ewah..

Diorang dok pusing-pusing keliling and the face, so fierce.. tinggi diorang nie..ngeri gak..

See..betapa tinggi..or aku mmg pendek.. haha.. tapi ngeri kot nak amek gamba.. sbb muka serious gile..ada terasa nak buat lawak.. heee.. muka ragu-ragu nak dekat lagi..Setiap baju melambangkan pangkat mereka..that one is Gapsa..Regular guard sajos, guarding palace gates Cheolrik..

Nie pulak either Daejol or Gisu..

Kalau rajin ambil je gambar dengan semua guards.. masa nie dah terasa nak pitam pon ade.. penat..

From this street korang boleh berjalan kaki ke Insadong.. dekat tuh x dekat la tapi boleh la..

Gambar palace..sangat cantik tapi we decided no more palace since shrine tuh pon dah cukup la.. kalau korang suka boleh masuk..tapi our mission was to visit Insadong.. the next station adalah Insadong.. by foot ok.. 

Nota kaki : Wear flat kalau di Korea, kalau terasa Korean bolehla pakai heels..tabik hormat.. byk berjalan je sampai boleh blister kaki tau..pakai sock tebal sket..
